Something New for Christmas

We all have something new in our stash, I am sure!

Maybe it is the ribbon you have just purchased or the buttons you just had to have that haven’t been opened, I can see you nodding your head.

Something New is the theme of the challenge I have chosen at Holly Jolly for this week, so I have created my card with a new purchase which is some of the new In-Color cardstock Coastal Cabana.

I have taken the inspiration for my layout from the Just Add Ink Sketch and the colours have been inspired by the Dynamic Duos challenge which is Basic Gray and one other colour.

Here is my card:

Supplies:

Stamp set: More Merry Messages
Card: Costal Cabana, Very Vanilla, Basic Gray
Ink: Basic Gray
Accessories:  Labels Collection Framelits, Delicate Designs Embossing Folder, Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon (retired), Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder (retired), Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

I am really happy with my “Something New” Christmas card and when I look at it now it looks almost like it is an ornament.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Just Add Ink Challenge – #171 Sketch

Dynamic Duos Challenge - #59 Basic Gray + One

The Squirrel and the Fox Challenge – # 47 Christmas in July

Crafty Friends Challenge – # 5 Bling

Thank you for visiting and enjoy your day….Meg

Very pretty. The embossing is fab. I like the "ornament" look to it...and the sentiment is so great! Thanks for joining us over at The Squirrel and The Fox.
